Alef Meem (previously Dana Wear) was founded in 2019, under the license of AlDana Matjar General Trading. Alef Meem is based on a woman’s need for good prayer clothes that are breathable, comfortable and elegant. Our vision is to build an elegant brand that celebrates prayers and our Islamic values, and your go-to brand for all your prayer needs.

The journey began
Our mission was to bring better quality prayer wear to the market, simple and comfortable prayer wear. Even though we sold all our inventory, but we didn’t make a new batch, and we stopped for around 6 months.

Introducing our Cotton and Silk collection, and launching the website

We introduced the girls collection from age 6 to 15.
Quality First
In our journey, the quality is always been the first and most important standard in our work. All of our cotton fabrics are washed before cutting to ensure that it will not shrink when the customer wash it .each piece is cut individually and not in bulk, we give each piece the attention and care that it requires.
FABRIC AND STYLE CHOICE
In the process of choosing the fabric, we test it for the durability, the comfort and the look. We also kept in mind that each style will need a different fabric, the classic one-piece prayer wear is introduced with the lightest and most breathable fabric, to ensure the comfort. For the unattached Sheila styles, we were able to use a thicker fabric as the customer can change the Sheila to a lighter one if she desire.
